Coach returns to CAB Formation

Pedro Dias will coach the Sub-24 Men's team during the 2013-2014 season. The coach, who has been a member of the CAB for nine years, returns to a house he knows to take on the challenge of training the team of hopes of Friends, a mission that is a challenge and also a task of great responsibility. As leader of the Sub-24 Males group, Coach Pedro Dias will play a key role in the preparation of players with a view to their integration into the senior squad. As such, it will be of great importance to articulate with the coach of the male team, João Freitas, as well as with the trainer of the Sub-16 Males, because only in this way will the fluidity of methods and concepts between the various competition echelons be ensured. In statements to the CAB Official Website, Pedro Dias commented on the return to the club as "A great joy to return to a house where I've been was treated very well, where I had the opportunity to learn and grow quite a lot as a coach and as a person with all the Friends." On the mission of training the Sub-24 Males, Pedro Dias characterizes it as "a great challenge, for several reasons: because we are going to work with athletes from different age groups, which makes the group quite heterogeneous; because we want to train athletes so that, in the near future, they can join the CAB's main team; and because, despite the little competition at the regional level we have, we want to prepare this team to compete at the national level dignifying the Club and the Region."
