Union and work have been the response of the CAB to a time of challenges

Participation in the Men's League's playoffs is a goal that remains perfectly within the reach of the men's CAB team. Despite the difficult calendar of Friends in the final straight of the season, with games in front of Benfica, Porto, Guimarães and Barcelos, the current competitive model enables this hypothesis and even favors a team such as CAB, in full phase of stabilization and form growth. According to the new competitive rules of the Federation, participation in the ‘playoff’ is reserved for eight teams, with the automatically guaranteed access to the formations that end the Regular Phase in the first six positions of the table. The last two vacancies are decided in a clearance phase, played after the Regular Phase, and in which the five teams that are ranked between 7th and 11th place participate. In this system, teams that stay between 7th and 11th place play, among themselves, a clearance on a competitive basis of all-against-all, two laps away, with a home game and a game outside doors. Teams that end up in the first two places of this clearance will integrate the lot of the six teams automatically cleared, and with them, in a total group of eight formations, will play to decide who will be the national champion. Therefore, of course, participation in the Men's League playoff is perfectly within reach of the CAB. This possibility is further strengthened if we take into account the fact that the Friends team is growing, benefiting from the arrival of players with quality and experience. In addition, the working group and the medical team have worked with great will to overcome the various injuries that have almost constantly affected the crew of the Madeiran class and their highest-ranking players. Team counts as support and affection of the entire club Considering all this, the only possible attitude is that of constant support for the team and its coaches, unquestionable examples of struggle, sacrifice and professionalism in defense, not only of the club, but also of Madeira. Fighting many adversities, the group has done everything to respond within the field, which is where it truly matters, and always maintaining its union, an aspect visible to all. In fact, it is no accident that day after day it is possible to witness in our pavilion the deep empathy that exists between the players of the Men's Team and all the athletes of the Formation, as well as the associative mass of the club. These solidarity ties that exist around the group are in themselves a huge motivation to which players have been able to respond with great effort.
