The formation of the CAB/HF received, in the CAB Pavilion, the Sanjoanense team in another match to count for the final phase of the CNB1. The game was faced with great difficulty for the Madeirans, as they would face a team with much superior sports arguments and that presents itself, this season, with the clear objective of climbing to the Pro-Liga. Even so, the team led by Pedro Dias and Humberto Ramos presented the game with great verticality and willingness to discuss the result. The game started very well for the home team. The men playing in yellow demonstrated great defensive cohesion, which nullified the visitors' main weapons, forcing several losses of ball and throws out of time. In the attack, the CAB/HF also revealed patience and a good selection of launches, benefiting from the excellent understanding between its two indoor players and a very effective ball rotation. In the second period, the story of the game was completely different. The CAB/HF 'sleeped' defensively, and in the attack, the Madeirans found no response to the Sanjoan defense. Defending badly and marking little, the CAB/HF was an easy 'presa' for visitors, who had in the outer shot a great reference, as well as in the penetrations to the basket. On the merits of the visitors and demerit of the locis, the interval arrived with the marker in 28-29, in favor of the Sanjoanense. On the return of the locker rooms, the CAB/HF was fulminant. The delivery of the players was huge, which applied immensely to defensive and offensive tasks. To highlight the serenity shown by Madeirans in exploring the best attack options, which invariably passed through the exploration of the inner game, from which many other options to attack the basket were crushed. In defense, the house was also consistent, cancelling the opponent's game. In the fourth and final period, the CAB/HF was well and built an advantage that was 17 points over the opponent. However, when it was only five minutes before the match was over, the house was uncharacterized and almost completely lost their dominance over the game. Making a mistake after error, some of them without explanation, the formation of the CAB/HF allowed the Sanjoanense to stall the meeting and reach the last minute of the game with a draw to 62. The worst was feared in the CAB Pavilion when visitors conquered the ball with less than 20 seconds to play. There followed a failed launch, a ball recovery, and when the horn rang, a 'midway' pitch of Witjes - a true superhero! - gave the house the victory for 65-62. Congratulations are given to the men of the CAB/HF, who have always believed it to be possible, and also to the pair of technicians who guide them for having managed, when it mattered most, to transmit to the team the stability that allowed them to write an epic end in an inappropriate game for heart patients. Congratulations!
